 As
a recycler and manufacturer of film and bags made totally from
100% recycled material, Ecopoly
Ltd is committed to the environment. We are
working closely with Government bodies and approved organisations
such as London
Remade and WRAP
and NISP.
Ecopoly Ltd is
headed by Stephen Smyth who, after 35 years in the polythene
film extrusion business, decided to put his wealth of knowledge
to good use. He made the conscientious step of selling his existing
business and established a recycling company specialising in
plastic film materials. He comments, "Years of experience
in handling and producing these types of materials and the problems
in managing the process are second nature to me. That knowledge
can now be used in recycling".
The factory is based in Enfield, North London and is ideally
located for the collection of raw materials around the M25,
A10 and Central London. Currently plastic material waste is
shipped to Scotland, Wales and as far afield as China and India,
burning fuel in unnecessary transportation. "We believe
in local collection from local companies, reselling our recycled
product locally for re-use", Stephen continued. |
